1. How can I win points and get a higher rank?

Points is what it's all about. The more points you have, the higher your ranking will be and the higher your level will be. Get as much points as you can on Quiz-fun.com and you'll get rewarded.

Now, how can you win points? There are a lot of ways:
- play quizzes
- solve questions
- create quizzes and win points for making the quiz and for each player
- create questions and win points for creating the question and for each answer to the question
- invite your friends to this site
- ...

You see, there are a lot of ways to win points on this site. Just play and have fun and your points will rise automatically...

Now, how is your rank determined? Quiz-fun.com has three rankings: all time, this month and last month:
- Your total amount of points determines your rank in the all time rankings
- The amount of points you won during this month determines your rank in this month ranking
- The amount of points you won during last month ... you get the idea :)

2. How is my intelligence calculated?

Your intelligence (

) is equal to the number of questions you answered correctly, divided by the total number of questions you answered. For example: suppose you answered 10 questions, and you answered 2 questions correctly. Then, your intelligence would be 2/10 = 0.5 or 50%.
Normal people know the answers to about 30% of all trivia questions. This means that an intelligence of 30% can be considered as 'normal'.

Depending on your intelligence, you can be one of the following:

0% < Intelligence < 10%: retarded
10% < Intelligence < 20%: stupid
20% < Intelligence < 30%: dum
30% < Intelligence < 40%: normal
40% < Intelligence < 50%: informed
50% < Intelligence < 60%: smart
60% < Intelligence < 70%: intelligent
70% < Intelligence < 80%: brilliant
80% < Intelligence < 85%: brainy
85% < Intelligence < 90%: genious
90% < Intelligence < 95%: super genious
95% < Intelligence < 100%: god

3. How is my level calculated?

We reward your activity on this site by promoting you with levels. The more points you earn and quizzes you create, the higher your level will be. Get eternal respect on quiz-fun.com and in the trivia community and fight for the highest levels! Your level is presented by a little armor shield next to your avatar and is determined as follows:

	level 0 (guest): everyone that visits the site and does not have a login
	level 1 (beginner): requires an account on quiz-fun.com and verification of your email address
	level 2 (freshman): requires level 1 and 100 points
	level 3 (apprentice): requires level 1 and 250 points
	level 4 (recruit): requires level 1 and 500 points
	level 5 (loyal): requires level 1 and one question created
	level 6 (loyal): requires level 5 and 1000 points
	level 7 (advanced): requires level 6 and 1 quiz created
	level 8 (advanced): requires level 7 and 2500 points
	level 9 (skilled): requires level 8 and 3 quizzes created
	level 10 (skilled): requires level 9 and 5000 points
	level 11 (proficient): requires level 10 and 6 quizzes created
	level 12 (proficient): requires level 11 and 10000 points

To create your own quiz, you need to take three simple steps:

1) Create a free account: it's easy and fast. Just give us a nickname and a password.

2) Verify your account: provide a valid email address. We will send you a verification link and you 'll have to click this link to verify your email address.

3) Go to your account and click on 'create your own quiz'

23. How can I change my avatar?

Your avatar is a small image which represents yourself on this site. It is displayed everywhere next to your nickname: in your quiz results, in the rankings, in your profile page, ... Therefore it's quite nice if you can put your own avatar image next to your nickname. You can upload a new avatar image by pointing your browser to http://www.quiz-fun.com/account/settings and clicking on 'edit avatar' (you'll have to be logged in of course). Then simply follow instructions.
